Terms of Use

The service

Idyno shows caller identity before you answer, blocks spam numbers, and offers reverse phone lookup. The database is built from user contributions, from public and licensed sources, and from businesses that verified their own numbers.

The information shown is indicative, not definitive. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any name or classification, and it must not be relied on alone for any legal, credit, or employment decision.

Eligibility

You must be at least sixteen years old. The service is not offered to holders of numbers from countries we do not serve: Russia and Kazakhstan (+7), China (+86), Vietnam (+84), and Iran (+98).

Account and device

Basic lookup works without registration. Some features require device registration, and some require proving ownership of your number with a WhatsApp verification code.

You are responsible for safeguarding your device and its access tokens. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

Contact sharing

Manual lookup inside the app requires sharing your full address book. Sharing is optional, and manual lookup is conditional on it.

By sharing, you confirm you have the right to share that data with us. We use it solely to build the caller ID database: a name is shown to whoever searches that number inside the app, is never published on the open web, and is never traced back to you.

The requirement never touches caller identification during a call, deletion, or the privacy centre — those are always open.

Acceptable use

Breaking these rules means immediate suspension of the device or account, by the automated rules engine or by administrative decision.

• Do not use the service to harass, stalk, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
• Do not use results for credit, insurance, employment, or housing decisions.
• Do not harvest data automatically, scrape the site, or circumvent rate limits.
• Do not upload abusive, misleading, or impersonating names.
• Do not resell or republish any data obtained from the service.

Spam reports

Reporting a number is a vote, not a verdict. Reports are aggregated and scored automatically, and repeated bad-faith reports put your account at risk of suspension.

Subscription and payment

• For eligible new subscribers, the first month is a free trial from the store (App Store or Google Play): entirely free, one per store account, your payment method is not charged before it ends, and you can cancel from the store at any time. Existing trials retain the end date agreed at signup.
• After that, a yearly subscription priced for your country, billed exclusively through the Apple or Google store.
• Renewal is automatic unless you cancel in your store settings before the renewal date.
• Refunds follow the policy of the store you purchased from, not ours.
• Cancelling a subscription does not delete your data; deletion is a separate request and is always free.

Verified business identity

Verifying a business number is free and requires proof of number ownership plus a commercial registration match with the issuing authority.

You confirm you are authorised to represent that business. Any false statement voids verification immediately and exposes the number to blocking.

The declared reason for calling must be truthful and must match the actual purpose of your calls.

Deleting your number

Deleting your number is a right bound to no condition, no fee, and no account. It executes instantly after WhatsApp verification — from the app, or from the website on the "Control your number" page. Anyone with no WhatsApp on their number uses the removal request form on the same page.

After removal, the number remains suppressed from view even if others upload it. Its visibility is restored only at its owner’s explicit request after ownership verification. Restoration does not bring back previously removed data or lift suppression of deleted names, and subsequent contributions remain subject to the usual publication rules.

Intellectual property

The Idyno name, logo, design, and software belong to us. Using the service grants you no rights in them.

Disclaimer and limits of liability

The service is provided “as is”, with no express or implied warranty as to the accuracy of any information or the continuity of the service.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. In all cases our aggregate liability does not exceed what you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

Nothing here is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded in your country.

Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access if these terms are breached or abuse is suspected. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Any material change is announced well before it takes effect, and continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
